Full List of Risk of Rain 2 Character Tiersįor our tier list, we’ll go from the worst characters to the best. Keep on reading to find out who’s the best character. Our tier list will help you form an educated opinion on all 11 characters. If you’re wondering how the characters in Risk of Rain 2 are ranked, you’re in luck. Even so, there are always some who are a cut above the rest. All of them excel in different combat styles and fulfill various niches. If you have any other ideas altogether I’d like to hear them. There are currently 11 playable characters in Risk of Rain 2, each belonging to a unique class. Is there any way, either using options or a combination of mods, for there to spawn chests as if there was only 1 player but all other interactables spawn the correct amount (4 players)? Also, part of the fun of playing multiplayer is how there’s more mountain shrines, scrappers, 3-D printers, blood shrines ect but we don’t get that with our current setup. Last time we played by the time we got to the final boss only one of us had found equipment. The only problem is because we set the amount of interactables to one player’s worth there isn’t nearly enough equipment spawning. Also whatever decisions you make using the scrapper, 3-D printers, and cauldrons only affects you so everyone still has agency to switch up their item build. Every item gets shared except equipment so we can all choose our own and have some diversity. It’s makes it more fun to share money too since we all need to work together and discuss how we want to spend it. Think of it like we need to earn 4x the amount of money to buy a chest since it’s going to 4 people. 25, and all spend from the same money pool when we buy. We also share all money, have the money earned scaled to. This way we can’t power up more than we would single player. Normally what my group does is set the amount of interactables in each stage locked at the same amount as if there was only one player. That is way too much and allows you to get overpowered quickly. If you’re playing with 4 people like I normally do and don’t mess with the options, then every player has the potential to get around 4x as many items per round than if they were playing single player. But so far getting ShareSuite to keep the same level of difficulty has been a challenge. Think of mods like AutoSprint or Empt圜hestsBeGone. When I mod I always look for quality of life, not things that lower difficulty. The only remaining issue is how to keep spirit of the original difficulty. It turns the game truly Co-op and makes it much more fun for me personally. It completely removes the problems as everyone stays equally powerful (as long as you turn on the share items on death option). If you like to play the game with friends I highly recommend ShareSuite. There’s little sense of community as everyone is rushing to get the most powerful and not fall behind. Even before death one player can hog all the items or get lucky enough to get the best ones. And so begins the cycle of one player being powerful and all the others dying instantly. If one player dies they will be so behind in the next round which will only make them more likely to die. Unfortunately playing the game vanilla in multiplayer leaves something to be desired. One thing I love about Risk of Rain is how challenging it can get in Monsoon and Eclipse difficulty, at least for people who don’t have hundreds of hours in the game like myself.
